# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • Everything you love about burritos happens to be pasta's best friend too
  • The salsa creates this incredible creamy tangy sauce that coats every single piece of pasta
  • Leftovers somehow taste even better the next day when the flavors have had time to become best friends
02 -
  • Don't skip letting it rest for those 5 minutes or you'll end up with a runny mess instead of perfectly cohesive pasta
  • The pasta absorbs a lot of liquid while baking, so if your mixture looks too thick before going in the oven, add a splash of pasta water
  • Sour cream can separate if added to a too-hot pan, so pull the skillet off the heat before stirring it in
03 -
  • Grate your own cheese instead of buying pre-shredded, the melt is infinitely creamier
  • Let the dish sit for 10 minutes before serving if you can manage the patience, the texture becomes perfect
